English cello bow, branded on the frog “NORRIS” made c.1790. length 72.2cm. 
John Norris b.1739 d.1818 London. In 1765 set up, with Robert Barnes as Norris & Barnes, in Coventry Street. Many of the their instruments and bows were made by menbers of the Dodd Family. After Norris's death in 1818 the shop was taken over by Richard & William Davis.
