Ebonite (thinned throughout) 1867 patent flute with silver keywork, signed "(crown) / RUDALL / CARTE & CO / 20 CHARING CROSS / LONDON / 624 / 1867 PATENT" made in 1875 by Holland. Length 65.0cm. In original leather covered, case with cleaning rod and greasebox.
In good original condition, needs overhaul to be playable. Thined body and head ebonite flutes are rare.
